CHDB Data

CHDB provides members with population-based data relating to health, human services, and education statuses and needs in the five-county Southeastern Pennsylvania region, comprising Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery Counties. Core data products include current and/or past years of the Household Health Survey; tabulated, four-year average annualized Pennsylvania Vital Statistics data; and tabulated US Census data from the most recent survey year, including estimates and projections provided by Claritas for present and future years.

For more information on CHDB’s data products, see our Data page.

Consulting and Technical Assistance

Every CHDB membership comes with consulting / technical assistance hours to ensure that members can fully take advantage of and derive actionable findings from their data. CHDB also provides additional consulting and technical services relating to population-based data. These services are available on a per-hour basis, on retainer, or as part of a specific project contract. For example, CHDB’s staff has completed over 50 Community Health Needs Assessments for non-profit hospitals in the SEPA region; we leverage our knowledge of local communities and data to support hospitals in identifying and responding to pressing population health needs.
